Bass guitar lessons cover theory, technique, improvisation, scales and pieces. As soon as your technique allows, pieces will be chosen to suit the styles you want to play.
Tuition for Rockschool bass guitar examinations is available, but you don't have to enter the exams exams if you don't want to.
Use of the graded Rockschool books is recommended to give you an idea of your progress and to provide some pieces with full backing tracks to play along with.
I can teach you how to read bass guitar from tablature or from bass clef, as well as how to play 'by ear'.
As much or as little music theory you want to learn can be added into lessons. I am fully qualified in Bass guitar having gained a grade 8 distinction.
