Guitar lessons include courses adpated to each individual's needs and cover acoustic guitar and electric guitar. I teach from beginners to advanced level, (with the exception of classical guitar).
I can cover technique, improvisation, scales and pieces. As soon as your technique allows, pieces will be chosen to suit the styles you want to play.
Tuition for Rockschool Guitar exams is available for electric guitar, and RGT (Registry of Guitar Tutors London College) exams for acoustic guitar. However you don't have to take the exams if you don't want to.
Use of the exam books as a supplement to other pieces is recommended to give you an idea of your progress and to provide some pieces with full backing tracks to play along with.
I can teach you how to read guitar music from either tablature or from treble clef, as well as how to improvise and play 'by ear'.
As much or as little music theory you want to learn can be added into lessons, as well as information on music technology and recording.
