Information for Schools
I have successfully worked as a Guitar and Keyboard instrumental tutor for the last 15 years with Gloucestershire Music Service (Primary and Secondary schools), 8 years teaching Guitar for Cirencester College's AS Level Music students, and have 28 years experience of teaching private Guitar lessons to all age groups from children to pensioners ! I am also a member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors (AM3794). I recently received distinction at Rockschool Grade 8 (2012-2016 syllabus). Certificate here.
I am available for hire to teach both Guitar and Beginners Keyboard in schools in Gloucestershire for small groups and individual tuition. Tuition for Trinity Rockschool Examinations are included in lessons. At between £24 to £28/hr (depending on distance travelled) I can provide small group or individual tuition at much lower rates than was previously possible via Gloucestershire Music.
I can provide direct billing to parents via cheque, cash or Paypal saving schools the extra administration associated with instrumental tuition, and can provide regular email updates to parents on progress. As a musician that has recorded and sold commercial work I am also available for hire on music technology related projects.
References and Music Service assessments can be provided. I have a recent enhanced CRB check and can provide Musicians Union Public Liability Insurance.
